Parkinson’s UK York Branch is excited to be taking part in the Rotary Dragon Boat Race in York for the very first time(yes we know …please wish us luck!) We are raising money to help support the local Parkinson’s community. There are currently 166,000 people living with Parkinson’s in the UK , and every 20mins someone new gets the diagnosis.

For those who don’t know, we are a friendly community of people, based in York and the surrounding area.We support people with Parkinson’s and their family and friends.We use the money we raise to offer friendship, a meeting point and run a whole range of classes and activities for fun and therapy. We are part of the national charity Parkinson’s UK, which supports us in all we do
