The team at Woodstone1 this year are rowing for a charity named Choc and Co. Choc & Co is a purpose-driven organisation founded in response to the loss of two friends to addiction during the pandemic. Rooted in lived experience, they work to challenge the stigma surrounding addiction by creating meaningful employment opportunities, community, and connection for those left behind. Through compassion and dignity-led support, Chocolate and Co empowers individuals to rediscover purpose, rebuild their lives, and realise their potential.

As a team, we have chosen this charity for so many reasons; their work is driven by passion and true dedication. The charity is developed and delivered by lived experience, and its outcomes are varied and individualised. Not one cap fits all. We have people with personal experiences of their own experiences and have seen firsthand how life can be impacted by addiction. Having such a local charity offer this amazing work is invaluable and we just want to help them continue to thrive!
